What you'll practice

Each day takes about 12 minutes: a short passage of Scripture, a brief teaching, simple steps to practice, a reflection question, and a closing prayer. Here's the path.

  1. Day 1

    Read without rushing

    John 15:1–5

Slow reading creates space for Scripture to address us, rather than merely pass through us.

  2. Day 2

    Enter the scene

    Mark 10:46–52

Imagination can help Scripture move from information to encounter.

  3. Day 3

    Receive the invitation

    Matthew 11:28–30

Every passage reveals something about God and often carries an invitation into trust or action.

  4. Day 4

    Pray the words back

    Psalm 23

Scripture becomes prayer when its language gives voice to our gratitude, fear, need, and hope.

  5. Day 5

    Stay with one sentence

    Romans 8:38–39

Repetition lets truth travel from the mind toward the heart.

  6. Day 6

    Let the Word examine you

    James 1:19–25

Scripture is a mirror offered in love—not for shame, but for transformation.

  7. Day 7

    Build a portable practice

    Deuteronomy 6:4–9

Scripture forms us as it becomes woven into the places and patterns of everyday life.
